Privacy Notice

ALTEZA (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to handling your personal information with care and discretion. This notice explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it.

ALTEZA operates as a luxury travel advisory under the domain alteza.studio. For the purposes of data protection law, ALTEZA is the data controller for the personal information described in this notice.

What information we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our website, we collect the information you provide directly: your name, email address, approximate travel dates, and any details you share about your travel plans or preferences.

We do not collect payment information, passport details, or any sensitive personal data through our website, though we may collect it with your permission using third party booking platforms, where necessary.

How we use your information

We use the information you provide solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to begin designing a travel itinerary for you.

We do not use your information for marketing purposes and we do not send promotional emails or newsletters.

We do not sell, share, or transfer your personal information to third parties.

Our legal basis for processing

We process your personal information on the basis of legitimate interests — specifically, to respond to your enquiry and provide the service you have requested.

Cookies and analytics

Our website is built on Squarespace and uses Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the site. Both tools use cookies to collect anonymised data about site visits, pages viewed, and general browsing behaviour. We use this information only in aggregate form to understand site performance and improve the visitor experience.

Google Analytics data is processed by Google in accordance with their privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. No personally identifiable information is sent to Google through this tool.

We do not use advertising cookies, retargeting pixels, or any other third-party tracking tools.

You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings at any time.

How we keep your information secure

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure. Enquiry data is handled via Google Workspace, which is subject to Google’s own security standards and certifications.

While we take reasonable steps to protect your information, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. If you have concerns about the security of your data, please contact us at hello@alteza.studio.

International data transfers

Some of the tools and suppliers we use to operate our business may process your personal information outside the UK or European Economic Area (EEA). In particular, Google Analytics processes data on servers located in the United States.

Where your data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection law. Google’s data transfers are governed by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the relevant authorities.

We only work with suppliers who provide sufficient guarantees about the security and lawful handling of personal data.

How long we keep your information

We retain enquiry information for as long as necessary to provide our service and maintain a record of our correspondence. If you would like us to delete your information at any time, please contact us at hello@alteza.studio and we will do so promptly.

Your rights

Under UK and EU data protection law, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, to request that we correct or delete it, to object to or restrict how we process it, and to request a copy of it in a portable format.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at hello@alteza.studio. We will respond within 30 days.

If you are based in the UK, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk. If you are based in the EU, you may contact your local data protection authority.
